Thousands of Pakistanis study in China every year, and many do it on full scholarships.
The main options
- Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC). The most widely known option. It usually covers tuition, accommodation and a monthly allowance. Pakistani students often apply through the Higher Education Commission, or directly to Chinese universities.
- University scholarships. Many Chinese universities offer their own funding for strong international students.
- Provincial and city scholarships. Some regions run special programmes for students from partner countries.
- Belt and Road related programmes. Schemes aimed at students from countries along the BRI.
- Confucius Institute scholarships. Mostly for Chinese language study.
